We built Pro Path because two things weren't adding up.
High school hockey players — especially girls — were navigating one of the most important windows of their athletic lives without a real roadmap or a real mentor.
And professional female hockey players, some of the most accomplished athletes in the world, were underpaid and underleveraged when it came to giving back to the next generation.
We decided to fix both at once.
THE STORY
ProPath started in January 2026.
I'm Madie Leidt — a professional hockey player who has competed all over the world. I started Pro Path with two co-founders because I kept seeing the same gap play out at every level of the game I love.
Girls were grinding through high school hockey — working hard, dreaming big — without anyone who truly understood what they were chasing. And the women best positioned to help them? Playing professionally in Europe and North America, with so much to offer and no real platform to offer it.
Pro Path is the bridge.
We match high school hockey players with active pro players for 1:1 mentorship — and we make it financially worth the pro's time, because her knowledge and experience has real value.
This isn't charity. It's a real exchange. And it's working.
